About the Collections
UBC Library holds more than 7 million items, making collections – both physical and digital – an essential support for teaching, learning, & research at UBC.
UBC Okanagan Library holds over 200 thousand items, including books, films, journals, maps, and sound recordings, as well as special collections and archival materials relevant to the Okanagan and neighbouring regions of British Columbia

Our Okanagan Library holds over 4,500 audiovisual titles in DVD and VHS format. Highlights of this collection include a robust assortment of Hollywood feature films, as well as foreign language titles from countries around the world.
Located on the first floor of the library, all of these titles are available to borrow.
cIRcle is the University of British Columbia’s digital repository for research and teaching materials created by the UBC community and its partners. Materials in cIRcle are openly accessible to anyone on the web, and will be preserved for future generations.

Looking to relax with a good read? Do you like mysteries, romance, fantasy, popular science or contemporary fiction?
Check out this collection of paperbacks on the main floor of the Okanagan Library, located in the shelving unit beside the Quick Use computers (east of the Library Service Desk). This leisure reading collection is frequently refreshed with new titles.

Located on the second floor of the Okanagan Library, our topographic map collection focuses on areas of British Columbia and Alberta. Other Okanagan maps are also available in our Okanagan Special Collections.
