Research Services for Faculty, Post-docs & Graduate Students
The UBC Okanagan Library offers a number of in-person services for faculty as well as post-doctoral fellows and graduate students. Please explore below to find specific support services for your research.
SUBJECT LIBRARIANS
Subject Librarians are specialists who can address your unique and in-depth research questions. Subject Librarians can provide research consultations by phone, email, and in-person.

CENTRE FOR SCHOLARLY COMMUNICATION (CSC)
The CSC brings together the expertise of partners from Advanced Research Computing and Research Services with the UBC Okanagan Library to provide an information hub for research supports and services at UBC Okanagan.
Writing Consultations
The CSC provides writing support for journal articles, grant proposals, theses, dissertations, and conference presentations, as well as copyright, open access, and author rights.
CSC Workshops
The CSC offers workshops and events to faculty, post-docs, and graduate students on a wide range of research projects and processes topics.
Research Tools & Services
The CSC website features a searchable database of research tools and services and functions as an information hub for research support services at UBC Okanagan.
Undergraduate Student Support
The Library offers support through in-person services and spaces specifically designed for the undergraduate student. From help with assignments to writing workshops and tutoring, we’re here to support your learning, research and academic success.

The Student Learning Hub offers centralized undergraduate services designed to enhance learning and empower students in all disciplines and at all undergraduate levels.

Library Instruction
Librarians can provide instruction in-class, online, or through asynchronous resources. Sessions can be general, customized to course content, or co-led. We can provide single sessions or multiple, integrated or embedded sessions.
Okanagan Special Collections
Our Special Collections room (COM004) boasts a variety of resources for research purposes including books, pamphlets, journal issues, DVDs, VHS, maps, etc. – created in and/or about the Okanagan-Similkameen, Columbia-Shuswap, and the Kootenays.
