About the collections
UBC Okanagan Library holds approximately 200 thousand physical items, including books, films, journals, maps, and sound recordings, as well as special collections and archival materials relevant to the Okanagan and neighbouring regions of British Columbia.

Audiovisual Collection
Our Okanagan Library holds over 5,200 audiovisual titles in DVD and VHS format. Highlights of this collection include a robust assortment of Hollywood feature films, as well as foreign language titles from countries around the world.
Located on the second floor of the Library, all of these titles are available to borrow.
Digital Collections
UBC Library offers access to searchable online collections through the Open Collections portal and the institutional repository cIRcle. UBC Okanagan Library offers access to digitized collections from Okanagan Special Collections & Archives and community memory institutions through the BCRDH portal.

Maps
Located on the second floor of the Okanagan Library, our topographic map collection focuses on areas of British Columbia and Alberta. Other Okanagan maps are also available in our Okanagan Special Collections.

Special Collections and Archives houses our special resources related to the Okanagan region and is located in room COM004 in the Commons building. Looking to do a bit of research on the area? Come and visit us!
